I just think that this dude came off as a cock who is just trying to confuse his opposition by using big words and more correct grammar. Much of this statement is excessive and not needed, there is no need to say 'punishing the noble and utterly human desire to make tools to mitigate.' blah blah blah, of course Blizzard isn't going to commemorate third party products that lower the value of rewards and achievements. Everyone immediately switches to big words which no one uses anymore, or tries to out grammar the person they're arguing with. This comment has nothing to do with WoW, by the way, it's just something i noticed about people arguing on the internet.
